Kāpehu Civil supported the delivery of wastewater network works in Waiwera, undertaking complex civil and drainage activities within an existing live infrastructure environment.

Our scope included deep drainage and excavation works, wastewater pipeline construction, manhole installation, connection works, temporary works and associated civil reinstatement. The project required careful management of existing services, groundwater, restricted working areas and the challenges associated with working around operational wastewater infrastructure.

Working collaboratively with Fulton Hogan and project stakeholders, Kāpehu provided experienced drainage personnel, plant and civil construction capability to safely deliver the required works while maintaining programme and quality requirements.

The Waiwera project demonstrates Kāpehu's capability to undertake complex wastewater and underground infrastructure works, combining experienced site leadership, registered drainlaying expertise and heavy civil construction capability.
